The Greener Side

The Greener Side is a UK-wide closed-loop recycling service that helps businesses take a more responsible approach to their print consumables, WEEE waste, and IT assets, with complete compliance.

TGS provide nationwide recycling solutions for businesses of all sizes, covering everything from toner and ink cartridges to drums, fusers, developer units, printers, MFPs, computers and other electrical and electronic equipment, while providing safe and secure data erasure alongside IT Asset Disposal.

This approach goes beyond simply collecting waste. Every item received is assessed to determine its most appropriate material pathway. Where possible, products are remanufactured by us and returned to market, while suitable cartridges, components, and equipment can be reused through our Approved Recycling Partners. Items that are damaged beyond repair or no longer functional are shredded at our own recycling facility, allowing valuable plastic and metal to be recovered for use in other product lifecycles.

While remanufacturing and reuse remain our priority, whichever pathway is taken, our aim is to ensure materials are used optimally and never simply sent to landfill.

We also provide award-winning online portals including ATOM, giving users valuable recycling data and reporting of their customers waste streams, and My Greener Side, giving customers easy access to their recycling data, documentation and environmental statistics.
