DICE Network+ Announced as Partner of Circular Tech Expo

Circular Tech Expo is pleased to announce DICE Network+ as a partner, recognising the network’s ambitious and collaborative work to advance sustainability and circularity across digital and communication technologies.

Launched in January 2025 and funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), the Digital Innovation and Circular Economy (DICE) Network+ is bringing together researchers, industry, policymakers, and wider communities to help shape a more sustainable and digitally enabled circular economy.

Led by an expert academic team, the network is built around a strong interdisciplinary and collaborative approach, designed to connect existing activity, share understanding, and accelerate practical progress across sectors and value chains. Through its “network of networks” model, DICE Network+ aims to strengthen capability, encourage innovation, and support organisations in prioritising circular economy adoption and investment.

The network focuses on two core challenge areas: EMBED - embedding sustainability and circularity into the design and development of digital and communication technologies — and ENABLE - using the power of digital innovation to help drive circular economy transformation across wider industries and systems.

By connecting expertise across academia, commercial organisations, government, and the wider community, DICE Network+ is helping establish an important foundation for long-term sustainable innovation and systems change.

Laura Lawrance, Strategic Partnerships & Marketing Manager at Circular Tech Expo, commented:

We are extremely pleased to welcome DICE Network+ as a partner. The network represents exactly the kind of forward-thinking, collaborative approach needed to support meaningful progress across the circular technology landscape. Their work recognises that digital innovation and sustainability cannot be treated as separate conversations, and we are very much looking forward to supporting and sharing the important research, collaboration, and insight emerging from the network.

Further announcements involving DICE Network+ and collaborative activity across the Circular Tech Expo agenda will be shared in the coming months.
