Digital Poverty Alliance Announced as Partner of Circular Tech Expo

Circular Tech Expo is proud to announce the Digital Poverty Alliance (DPA) as a partner, recognising the organisation’s national leadership in tackling digital exclusion and driving long-term collaboration around digital inclusion across the UK.

The Digital Poverty Alliance is a non-profit charity initiative bringing together organisations and individuals from business, government, education, and the third sector with a shared mission: to end digital poverty by 2030. The organisation works to unite fragmented activity across the sector, helping create a more coordinated national approach to one of the UK’s most pressing social and economic challenges.

Through policy advocacy, research, industry collaboration, proof-of-concept projects, and national partnerships, the DPA works to address the barriers preventing millions of people from fully participating in modern society, including lack of access to devices, connectivity, and digital skills.

The organisation has also played an important role in helping drive national conversations around digital inclusion strategy, including supporting device redistribution initiatives and collaborative programmes designed to connect surplus technology with communities most in need.

As conversations around circular technology, reuse, and sustainability continue to evolve, the work of the Digital Poverty Alliance highlights the important relationship between environmental responsibility and equitable access to technology.

Laura Lawrance, Strategic Partnerships & Marketing Manager at Circular Tech Expo, commented:

We are extremely proud to welcome the Digital Poverty Alliance as a partner. The work they are leading is not only socially important, but increasingly essential to the future of a sustainable digital economy. Access to technology, connectivity, and digital skills now shapes access to education, employment, healthcare, and opportunity more broadly. The DPA continues to play a hugely important role in bringing organisations together to create meaningful, coordinated action around this issue, and we are very much looking forward to supporting and amplifying that work.”

Further collaborative initiatives and contributions involving the Digital Poverty Alliance will be announced in the lead-up to Circular Tech Expo.
