eBay announced as Networking & App Sponsor of Circular Tech Expo 2026

The sponsorship will support industry connections through the event app and the eBay 1:1 Networking Lounge at Farnborough International on 13–14 October — with a dedicated eBay Refurbished presence on-site for attendees looking to explore brand and inventory partnerships.

Circular Tech Expo is pleased to announce eBay as its Networking & App Sponsor for 2026, supporting opportunities for attendees, exhibitors and sponsors to connect, arrange meetings and build relationships across the technology lifecycle.

Taking place on 13–14 October 2026 at Farnborough International, Circular Tech Expo — the UK’s leading event for technology lifecycle professionals - brings together the organisations shaping how technology is manufactured, purchased, managed, reused and recovered.

The event app will enable attendees, exhibitors and sponsors to connect with one another and book meetings, helping participants make the most of their time at the show. It will also bring together the full event agenda and details of the features and workshops taking place across the two days, providing a central resource for planning a visit.

Attendees will gain access to the app when they register for a ticket. Standard Pass holders and VIP guests will receive premium app access, alongside access to the eBay 1:1 Networking Lounge at the event and additional ticket benefits. The lounge will provide a dedicated setting for face-to-face meetings and focused business conversations, including a manned eBay Refurbished stand for walk-up conversations with brands, retailers, ITAD providers and refurbishers.

eBay connects millions of buyers and sellers across more than 190 markets worldwide. Its technology helps individuals and businesses reach customers, access new opportunities and grow. As Networking & App Sponsor, eBay will support an event experience centred on connecting people and creating opportunities across the circular technology community. eBay will also join the conference programme directly, with Harry Smallwood speaking on "The Marketplace Effect" panel on the Lifecycle Management Stage on 13 October.

Circular Tech Expo brings together stakeholders from every stage of the technology lifecycle: manufacturers, enterprise and public-sector end users, IT asset disposition (ITAD) and IT asset management (ITAM) specialists, resellers, managed service providers, repair and refurbishment businesses, data centre operators, recyclers, and experts in end-of-life processing and critical mineral recovery.

Through its exhibition, conference programme, workshops and networking opportunities, the event will explore how the industry can extend the useful life of technology, protect data, retain commercial value and reduce waste. Connecting those responsible for buying and using technology with those managing its reuse and recovery is central to that purpose.

Eddy Lawrance, Event Director of Circular Tech Expo, said:
"We are delighted to welcome eBay as our Networking & App Sponsor. Bringing the full technology lifecycle community together is central to Circular Tech Expo, and helping those people find one another and have productive conversations is a vital part of the experience. The event app and eBay 1:1 Networking Lounge will help turn introductions into meaningful business discussions. Whether attendees are looking for a supplier, exploring a partnership or sharing expertise, we want them to leave with relationships that deliver value well beyond the two days of the show."

"From customer returns and open-box stock to retired enterprise devices - non-new inventory holds more commercial value than most organisations realise, and unlocking it depends on connecting the people who generate that supply with the people who know how to sell it. eBay Refurbished gives both a trusted, at-scale route to turn that inventory into revenue, and we look forward to building those connections through the Networking Lounge, the app and our session on The Marketplace Effect." — Harry Smallwood, Category Lead - Refurbished, eBay UK

Brands, retailers, ITAD providers and refurbishment partners attending the show — whether as a source of inventory or a route to market — are encouraged to visit the eBay stand in the Networking Lounge or book a meeting via the event app to explore a partnership with eBay Refurbished.

Registration is now open.

Attendees are encouraged to register themselves and their colleagues, explore the ticket options and plan their visit to Circular Tech Expo.
