Circular Tech Expo is all about extending the useful life of technology – and at the Live Repair Centre, powered by Hate My Phone, visitors can see that principle put into practice.

Across both days of the event, the Hate My Phone team will be carrying out live device diagnostics and selected repairs directly from their stand, giving visitors the opportunity to understand whether a device can be repaired, what the issue is and what it could take to keep it in use for longer.

Visitors are invited to bring along a device for a free diagnostic assessment, regardless of manufacturer or device type.

Live Repairs at Circular Tech Expo

Hate My Phone is planning to carry a range of commonly required parts at the event, with live repairs focused primarily on:

  • Apple iPhones
  • Apple iPads
  • Samsung Galaxy smartphones

Typical repairs available may include:

  • Screen replacements
  • Battery replacements
  • Charging port repairs

A wider range of devices may also be supported, including laptops, Google Pixel devices, Chromebooks and smartphones from other manufacturers, depending on demand and parts availability.

Because individual models require different components, same-day repair cannot be guaranteed for every device. Pre-registering your device before the event will give the Hate My Phone team the best opportunity to prepare the appropriate parts in advance.

Where a repair cannot be completed during the event – whether because of the device type, repair required or parts availability – the team can discuss the next steps with you and arrange the repair separately after the show.

It is a simple opportunity to see how repair can extend device life, retain value and prevent usable technology from reaching end-of-life prematurely.
